Data and Privacy

IMPORTANT

The developer respects and protects the personal privacy rights of all users of the service. By agreeing to the developer's service usage agreement, you are deemed to have agreed to the entire content of this privacy policy. This privacy policy is an integral part of the developer's service usage agreement.

Data Storage

Rodel Reader requires users to provide a local folder as a data storage folder during initialization.

The functional data of Rodel Reader will be stored in this folder, and personalized data such as application settings will be stored in the application folder.

Data Protection

Rodel Reader only performs data reading and writing, with most data stored in the database within the data folder. It does not actively use passwords/certificates or other means to encrypt user data.

Users have full rights to this data, but they are also responsible for the protection of this data.

The application and developers are not responsible for any data breaches caused by third-party attacks.

Privacy Protection

Rodel Reader will not actively upload your personal data to any online services created by any individual or organization, including the developer, except for telemetry data such as crash logs.

Telemetry data (if any) does not contain any personal privacy data and is only used for necessary data analysis for application maintenance.
